Type C Connector TPCOBRFSP003R is engineered for durability and reliable connectivity. It features a black housing made from high-temperature resistant plastic rated UL94V-0, ensuring flame retardancy and structural integrity. The contacts are crafted from copper alloy, offering excellent electrical conductivity, and are plated with 50µ” of nickel for corrosion resistance, topped with 3µ” of gold on contact areas and 1µ” on solder areas for optimal signal performance. The connector’s mid plate, EMI plate, and front shell are constructed from stainless steel, enhancing shielding and mechanical strength. The front shell and mid plate are nickel-plated (30µ”) and finished with 80µ” of tin on the mid plate for enhanced solderability. The EMI plate features a clear finish to maintain electrical performance. This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust construction and reliable signal integrity.
