Type C Connector TPCOBVFSP004P is engineered for durability and high performance, featuring a housing made of high-temperature resistant plastic rated UL94V-0 for flame resistance. The contacts are constructed from copper alloy for excellent conductivity, while the mid plate, front shell, and EMI plate are all crafted from corrosion-resistant stainless steel to ensure structural integrity and shielding effectiveness. Plating specifications include nickel (Ni) 50µ" minimum underplating on all contact surfaces, with 3µ" gold (Au) plating on the functional contact areas and tin plating on the soldering regions for optimal electrical performance and solderability. Additionally, the front shell is plated with a minimum of 30µ" of nickel, and the mid plate remains unplated with a clear finish. This robust design ensures reliable connectivity in a wide range of electronic applications.
